About the owner/photographer:

Hey there, my name is JJ. I got my degree in photography from Webster University back in 2006 and have been photographing in St. Louis and beyond ever since. My family of 5 currently resides in Webster Groves, MO, where we are doing our best to raise conscientious and empathetic humans and positive change agents to enter the world and make waves!

I run my photography business full-time, employing local folks to help me as often as I can. When not documenting people and events, I enjoy hiking, boxing, and thrifting. The connections I make with my family and friends is super important and brings me joy. I also love music and have a newfound addiction to karaoke (no one is claiming I’m skilled at it). I also love meeting new people and fellow artists who share a passion for creating and leaving their imprint on the world.

When I first started photographing, I worked with the Botanical Gardens and St. Louis Magazine At Home documenting gardens and landscapes. But after having kids, I craved adult interactions. I started working alongside some amazing local photographers and began building up a client base that I am still always impressed by. I can’t pick ONE favorite thing I enjoy photographing the most, but meeting and working with new folks and new businesses brings me so much JOY.
